Known as an acoustic vehicle alerting system across the automotive market, the Quiet Vehicle Sounder warns vulnerable road users of an approaching electric or hybrid vehicle.

The Quiet Vehicle Sounder is designed to emit a blend of Brigade’s bbs-tek® White Sound® frequencies and tonal sounds. This mix of frequencies ensures the QVS is only ever heard in the danger zone, is instantly detectable and locatable.

Government Legislation in Effect 

NHTSA 49 CFR Part 571 and 585 – Effective September 2020, all hybrid and electric vehicles in USA will need an acoustic vehicle alerting system to emit sound when travelling at low speeds.
