Take a Proactive Approach to Collisions

Mobileye Shield+™ is a collision avoidance system designed specifically for buses and other large vehicles with extended blind spots operating in crowded urban environments. Mobileye Shield+ has cameras placed around the vehicle continuously monitoring the driving environment in order to detect pedestrians and cyclists hidden in the vehicle’s blind spots, and upon detection alerts the driver to take action.

In addition to the five standard lifesaving features of the single camera system, Mobileye Shield+™ offers Pedestrian & Cyclist Blind Spot Detection.

Blind Spot Detection

Warns the driver that a pedestrian, cyclist or motorcyclist has been detected in the vehicle’s blind spot. A yellow signal is given if the driver needs to use caution, a red signal is given if there is risk of an imminent collision and of the need to take immediate preventative action.


Forward Collision Warning (FCW), including Urban Forward Collision

Alerts of imminent rear-end collision with a vehicle ahead.

Lane Departure Warning (LDW)

Alerts if the vehicle leaves the driving lane without use of the turn signal.

Pedestrian & Cyclist Collision Warning (PCW)

Alerts of imminent collision with a pedestrian or cyclist ahead, during daylight.

Headway Monitoring & Warning (HMW)

Alerts when the distance to the vehicle ahead becomes unsafe.

Speed Limit Indication (SLI)

Notifies of the new speed limit and if the driver exceeds it.



Mobileye Shield+™

Multi-camera system with blind spot detection, designed for large municipal and commercial vehicles.

Real-Time Alerts

When danger is detected, simple visual and audio alerts warn the driver to react quickly to avoid a collision.

Actionable Data

Pedestrian & Cyclist Blind Spot Detection

Utilises dynamic detection angles to constantly monitor the vehicle’s blind spots from the A-pillar and on the right- and left-hand sides of the vehicle.
