How The Dump Box Alert Works
The dump box raised sensor is an audible and visual alarm that signals the operator that the dump box is in the raised position, ONLY when the air brakes are released. If the truck moves (whether forward or back), the audible alarm and the RED indicator light on the display panel will pulse for one second, ON and OFF, until the box is lowered to within 2 inches of the magnetic switch which will cancel the alert.
The audible alarm is set to 90 decibels... not audibly intrusive but loud enough to get the operators attention!
Box Raised Sensor Kit includes:
- Panel-Timer Module with pre-wired 12” leads for 12VDC Power and Magnetic Switch
- Pre-wired magnetic switch cable with 20ft (6.5M) leads
- 6 Function adjustable audible/visual alarms. Unit comes preset with pulsating alarms.
