vShepherdT Helping Solve Ag Crimes

The state of California provides the largest variety of agricultural crops in the world.  Significant theft activity quickly undermines the local producer's ability to stay productive.  The Tulare County District Attorney's Office and Agricultural Crime Technology, Information and Operations Network (ACTION) decided on a high tech tracking solution in an attempt to apprehend the thieves responsible for equipment theft in the region.  Their choice was to install vShepherdT tracking devices from Longview Advantage.  The results speak for themselves.  From March to August 2004, ACTION has recovered 100 per cent of the units that were equipped with vShepherdT devices.  Full story....

Equipment Recovered Within Hours With vShepherdT 

After a number of thefts from his equipment yard, Brent Neuhaus, co-owner of Brazos Valley Equipment in Waco, Texas, had enough. He called Longview Advantage and ordered three vShepherdT tracking devices to be shipped for Saturday delivery. He installed them on three pieces of equipment and set the alarms.  Around midnight that same night, thieves broke into the yard and loaded the three units into a stolen rental truck.  Full story....
