Model STS-5000 Shop Tachometer

SenDEC's Shop Tachometer is a high-RPM maintenance meter for single and twin cylinder gasoline engines (2 or 4 cycle). This tachometer reads up to 16,000 RPM, has maximum RPM recall and clear functions, and can be programmed for up to 3 different firing patterns. The SenDEC patented design lets you access all meter functions with a single mode control button. Epoxy encapsulation protects this meter from shock and vibration and seals out the harshest environments. Designed and manufactured in the USA.

A versatile, all-purpose shop tachometer, the STS-5000 comes with an alligator clip for quick, temporary connection to the spark plug wire. The STS-5000 also includes the hardware and pickup wired needed for permanent connection.

Custom function programming is available for OEM and high volume accounts with or without special packaging, pad printing, and terminations.

Meter Operation

Tachometer

Press and release the mode button to display the current firing pattern (P1, P2, or P3) for 3 seconds. To change the firing pattern, press and hold the mode control button for at least 10 seconds; release it when the desired firing pattern is displayed. To access Maxtach (highest engine RPM), press and hold the mode control button for at least 3 seconds. To erase Maxtach, continue pressing the mode control button for at least 6 seconds (until 0000 is displayed).
